Peru Travel: Nazca Travel and Tours

TOUR: ICA/ NAZCA LINES

Ica and surrounding areas are the traditional source of Pisco brandy. Ica is the site of the Regional Museum, the nearby Huacachina oasis, and the Luren Sanctuary.Additionally to this visit, we will know the famous Nazca lines, a series of ancient geoglyphsthat have been designated a UNESCOWorld Heritage Site.

ITINERARY:

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ICA / CITY TOUR – HUACACHINA LAGOON
Very early in the morning, transfer from your hotel in Lima to the station to take the bus to Ica. Upon arrival, transfer to the selected hotel. In the afternoon we will start the Citytour, visitingthe antique and modern sides of the city with the Luren Sanctuary, the Regional Museum and theHuacachina Lagoon, an oasis of abundant vegetation, where many visitors can make Sand Boarding.

We will also be able to know the famous Vineyards where the best Peruvian grapes are cultivated, since Ica is the Earth of the wines and especially of our National beverage “Pisco”.
At the end of the city tour we will return to the city. Overnight in Ica.




DAY 2: NAZCA LINES
After breakfast, we will leave the hotel towards Nazca. Once there, we will go to the aerodrome to begin to over fly the lines, where strange hieroglyphic draws were made by the inhabitants of the Nazca Culture. After this marvelous experience, we will visit the Chauchillas,Pre-Inca cemetery located 28 km (17.4 miles) south of Nazca in which graves the robbers have left open some tombs in which you can see remains of the ancient inhabitants.
At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel.In the afternoon we will be transferred to the Bus station to return to Lima.
